wings-carriers of dreams

i've given it some thought.
if i feel like flying so much, maybe i could try and become a pilot.
being part of the cabin crew will still mean flying, but it's different if you're a pilot.
kinda funny that i want to be a pilot when the number of times i'm on a plane can be easily counted with my fingers. maebe it's because i haven been on a plane that many times (unlike most of you out there with frequent trips on board, youu luck chaps), i appreciate my hours onboard.

smallville- clark kent flying

it's kinda sad to see people only getting exhilarated when a plane takes off and then start plugging their headphone jacks, falling into deep slumber or just waiting for their food to be served. granted, it's just another mode of transport. but take a look outside, it's beautiful.
the hues of blue, peaceful and serene with oceanic clouds, floating like marshmellows. or if you're in luck, the break of dawn or the setting sun adds dimensions to the view outside. everything is basked in marigold, with a tinge of blue and pink here and there. could it get any better than this? tell me how can an entertainment system onboard measure up to the manifestation of freedom, peace and serenity outside the window? one can be so close to the Sun, so close to Him up there. i'm sure that was what Icarus felt, exhilarated by the thrill of flying so much so that he got careless and flew too near the Sun. and it's the reason why i like Superman so much; he could fly.
but, a life above the clouds would be wonderful.

guess i;d try to work my way towards this bahz. it's sure beats sitting in a cubicle staring at files and folders all day long. that kinda stinks. a lot, if i may add.
so guess maybe one fine day, you may hear me on the intercom when you take SIA, say 8 years down the road. heex. until then, good luck!
