Mooncake Festival.
i was mugging in school. by right, like every year, i'm supposed to be playing sparklers and candles with my sister. by right.
didn;t.
studied with claryce till 9. went with daphne and claryce to mac for a bite.
reached home 10+ but headed to the playground.
sat there and watched as little kids fiddle around with candles and stuff.

realised that i have to grow up. i dun wan to.
realised that i'm like watching some scene from my earlier years. i dun wan to.

realised that one can only be free and at ease only in childhood. when it's gone, it's gone. have you ever realised tat when you're young, you get to lie at the back of the car and sleep comfortably as your parents drive you around?
but when you grow up, you can only sit in the front seat. grown-ups are doomed to belong infront. never will we lie comfortably at the back like before. and the irony is tat when you're young, you always complain that your parents won't let you drive.

see what i mean when i said i dislike growing up?
if you're just a child, playing candles would be just trying to keep them alight without having the wind blowing them out.
but when you're all grown up, playing with candles would evoke all these irritating facts of life subconsicously and then you moan and grumble about it.

3 days to the exams and i'm not done with chem. good luck.
